If you have any pics you want included on this page, please email them to me!       -Thanks!
This picture was taken in the early eighties.    From left to right:  Dan Dunnett, Will Bramlett, Mark Hicks, and Danny "Floyd" Richardson.

Looks like we were jamming out at my apartment.
On the left is one of my best friends, Jerry Fuller.  He's one of the best bass players and harmony singers I've ever had the pleasure of jamming with.

On the right is another picture of me.   That Les Paul guitar was stolen from me in the late eighties.    These pictures were probably taken in about 1984 at the Belvania Club in Breckinridge, Texas.
On the left is a picture of my old buddy, Jimmy Slack.   He and I were college roomates back in the mid-seventies at Weatherford College.    On the right is another old friend, Phillip Porterfield.  All three of us were on music scholarships and played in the college jazz band as well as
a country group called COUNTRY GOLD.   Phillip was an excellent drummer and was taught by one of the best in the business, Duane Durrett.   Jimmy was one of the best guitars players I've ever played with and he was kind enough to teach me a lot about the guitar.    We spent lots of time in our dorm
rooms practicing and perfecting our playing.   We also performed countless times at high school assemblies across north central Texas.   There are plans in the making of the old band, COUNTRY GOLD,  getting back together to do a "reunion" CD at Trent Studios
Left:  Gary Elser, frontman for the most successful SLOWCOACH band, and a dear friend.

Right:  John Palmer, a great guitar picker and great friend who lives in Sweetwater, Texas.
Left:  The ACT team.  This was a specialized team that worked for MHMR in Mineral Wells, Texas.   Leann Hicks, Bruce Smith, Marie Davis and me.

Right:  Leann's mother, Pauletta Warren.
This pic was taken at Bruce's retirement party.
Left:  Peggy and Tim Lewelling.  Tim was the starting quarterback my senior year and was a great athlete!

Right:  This is Sara.  Her mother and I have been epals for about ten years.   They reside in Canada.

IN MEMORY OF....

This is Cliff Jones.   He was better known as "Bucky" Jones in his coaching days in Odessa, Texas.   He was a member of the "Fighting Kangaroos" back in the seventies and went on to coach high school football.   He was one of the most fun-loving guys I ever had the pleasure of knowing.  He was an upper-classman during my high school years and he unselfishly took me under his wing and helped me gain the confidence I needed to play varsity football.   Cliff, you will be missed by many!   God bless!
Friends and family:   Please send me your favorite pics.   I would love to add to this page!     -Mark
